Susan Little appreciates how life here is simpler and more joyful. Without the burdens of home maintenance, she’s free to focus on friendships, fun outings, and finding peace in daily life. She loves the flexibility of joining activities or just enjoying quiet time at home, all while knowing help is always nearby.
Residents like Ben and Suzanne Duffy often say what makes the Village shine is its team. Staff members don’t just know everyone’s name; they treat every resident like family, always going the extra mile with genuine warmth. That care hasn’t gone unnoticed by neighbors like Rich and Cindy Hunting or Gene and Joan Edwards, who instantly felt at home thanks to the friendly, supportive environment.
One especially meaningful story is that of Sonya Gardner. Once a beloved hairstylist in the Village’s beauty salon, Sonya is now an Assisted Living resident. She’s found joy in reconnecting with former coworkers and friends while continuing to share her talents as a seamstress. Her handmade holiday pins for staff are just one example of how she spreads sunshine throughout the community.
